Solar Product Suite
Go Solar Group's product suite allows us to tailor the solar array to the homeowner’s solar-powered purpose. With our selection of solar panels, racking systems and battery backup, every customer can find the perfect fit. Discover What our product line can do for you.
Go Solar Group Solar Module Options
At Go Solar Group, our solar suite includes a preferred solar panel, which we use on most of our installs. This solar panel has high-performance standards, which meet the needs of most of our customers.
Sometimes, however, the customer or setup of the house requires solar panels with higher efficiency. To meet these needs, we carry a selection of prime solar panels.
Go Solar Group's Prefered Solar Panel
Go Solar Group typically uses Axitec solar panels for its residential solar installations.
Axitec: AC-315MH/120SB
- 315-watt panels, German-engineered
- Module Conversion Efficiency: 18.96%
- Half-cell technology
- Black on black design
- Warranty
- 15-year Product Warranty: Covers manufacturer defects.
- 25-year Production Warranty: guarantees 85% of the original power output over the first 25 years and 90% over the first 15 years.
Solar Suite Premium Module Options
We recognize that the Axitec modules we offer don’t meet everyone’s needs. If a customer requests our premium panels, or the roof has limited space, we will install one of the following solar panels instead. These solar panels condense more solar production potential into each solar panel allowing for more production in a smaller space.
LG
Solaria
Silfab
While these panels do produce more per solar panel, they also cost more. Go Solar Group doesn't install them on all of our projects because we feel the price of these panels outweighs the added efficiency for most of our customers.

A lot goes into a quality solar panel. Determining which one to use isn't a frivolous task. Discover more, so you know what to look for in a solar panel.
Solar Inverter: SolarEdge
For a solar array to perform optimally, it's best to pair solar panels with a quality inverter. Go Solar Group uses SolarEdge inverters on all of its solar installations.
The power optimizers that come with these string inverters allow a wide range of solar designs to work. We use SolarEdge inverters because of the benefits they provide.
Benefits of SolarEdge Inverters
Go Solar Group uses SolarEdge because of the benefits that come with this inverter brand. SolarEdge inverters have a wide inverting range, fewer inverter losses, have a comparatively sleek design and come with a quality warranty.
Wide DC to AC Inverting Range
Each SolarEdge inverter can handle between 3kW – 11.4kW. This wide range in power, converting from direct to alternating current, means homes with higher energy needs still only need one inverter.
Increased efficiency
No matter which inverter the system uses, the array will have some electricity loss when the electrical current converts from direct to alternating. SolarEdge inverters, however, have 33%-50% less electricity-loss than the industry standard.
Inverter Weight and Size
SolarEdge inverters have less weight and size than other inverters on the market. These factors make them easier to install and less noticeable.
Inverter Warranty
Often inverters only have 10-year warranties, which makes their life expectancy shorter than solar panels. This warranty difference could mean the customer would have to replace the inverter before the system needs to retire. While SolarEdge inverters come with a 12-year warranty, customers can purchase a 20-25-year extended warranty, matching the warrantied-life of the array.
Why We Carry SolarEdge in Our Solar Product Suite: Power Optimizers
SolarEdge inverters stand apart from other string inverters because of the power optimizers added to each solar panel. Power optimizers help increase the amount of direct current produced by each solar panel, positively impacting the solar array in several ways. Some of these positives include:
- Increased array design flexibility
- Decreased impact of shaded modules on the production of the solar array
- Module-level monitoring: available for systems that also use SolarEdge monitoring.
- Increased power conversion efficiency
Compliant with NEC 2017's requirement for a module-level rapid shutdown.
Solar Panel Racking
Most people don't think about the structure holding the array in place. Choosing a poorly made racking system, however, could break and decrease the life of the solar array.
Go Solar Group uses two mounting companies. Each company uses quality materials. However, they specialize in different system types.
Roof Mounts: Everest
Go Solar Group uses Everest railing for its roof mount installations. Some of the reasons include:
- Compatible with most roof types
- Easy installation
- Open-box rail for better module wiring management
Ground Mounts: Iron Ridge
Go Solar Group uses Iron Ridge railing for its ground-mount solar installations. Although these mounting systems cost more, it's worth it because they provide increased rail strength. Ground mounts don't have a roof to support the solar panels, which means the quality of the railing has more influence on the array's durability.
Solar Array Monitoring Available in our Solar Suite: SolarEdge
Monitoring allows customers and the installers take a closer look at the production of the solar array. For installers, monitoring helps them determine the cause of issues in a solar array. While monitoring can help homeowners improve their post solar consumption habits.
5-year GMS Card
All Go Solar Group installations now include this monitoring type.
- Uses cellular data to connect the array to the monitoring system.
- Module Level Monitoring
- System Performance Visibility
- Easy access from computer, smartphone, or tablet
- Improved operations and maintenance capabilities
WiFi or Ethernet Connectivity
It’s more reliable to monitor through cellular data. However, not everyone desires to use this option. If customers don't want SolarEdge monitoring via cellular data, they can choose to connect the monitoring platform through their WiFi or Ethernet.
Consumption Monitoring
For an additional cost, customers can also use SolarEdge monitoring to track their energy consumption. This added monitoring feature allows the customer to see how much energy they use, so they can determine where they need to cut back.
Home Battery From our Solar Product Suite: Tesla Powerwall
Home batteries allow homeowners to power their entire home even during a blackout. We want to provide our customers with the best product selection possible. As a Tesla Powerwall installer, we can do this.

Another way to Charge Your Batteries: 200 Boulder Panels
Goal Zero also created a portable solar panel called Boulder Panels. These solar panels allow Goal Zero's battery backup options to charge with the sun without a residential solar array. The 200 Boulder Briefcase consists of two 100-watt monocrystalline solar panels linked together and designed so you can carry them with ease and set it up anywhere.
Go Solar Group's Level 1 and 2 Battery Backup
At Go Solar Group, we have separated the above Goal Zero emergency backup products between two different battery backup options. Customers who want to cover their essentials should take a look at our level 1 battery backup. While those who feel they need a little more power, but not a home battery, may find what they're looking for in our level 2 battery backup.
Our Solar Suite Smart Thermostat: Nest E
