2019 Yeti 3000 Sweepstakes Official Rules

This Sweepstake is Concluded and Closed. Congratulations to the Sweepstake Winner, Rachael Michel!

 

No purchase is necessary to enter or win the 2019 Yeti 3000 Sweepstakes. A purchase won’t increase your chances of winning. You do not need to be present for the randomized selection of the winner. The winner will be selected from the total combined entrants from Salt Lake City, Utah; Reno, Nevada; and San Antonio, Texas.

Sweepstakes Eligibility Requirements

This sweepstakes is open to legal residents at the below locations who meet the requirements specific to each location, and must submit their entries for the Sweepstakes during the campaign’s run dates: Wednesday September 18, 2019 at 8 a.m. PT (Pacific Time) to Friday January 3, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. PT. 

Utah

• Must be a homeowner 
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry 
• Must live within a 60-mile radius of Go Solar Group’s Utah office address: 4892 S Commerce Drive Suite C, Murray, Utah 84107, USA, excluding residents of the cities Provo, Bountiful, Kaysville, and Springville.

San Antonio, Texas 

• Must be a homeowner 
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry
• Must live within a 60-mile radius of Go Solar Group’s San Antonio office address: 2556 Boardwalk Street, San Antonio, Texas 78217.

Greater Reno Nevada Area

• Must be a homeowner 
• Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry 
• Must Live within a 60-mile radius of Go Solar Group’s Sparks Nevada office address: 96 Glen Carran Cir, Sparks, Nevada 89431, USA, excluding residents of the state of California and Nevada zip codes 89508, 89402, 89413, 89448, 89449, and 89451.

How to Enter the Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes begins 8 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on Wednesday September 18, 2019. You may enter the sweepstakes by submitting your contact information to request a free, no obligation, solar quote (The Entry) using the forms on either of the following pages. Alternative Entry Method

Alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing the words “Go Solar Group 2019 Yeti 3000 Sweepstakes”, your name, age, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and e-mail address (if applicable) on a 3”x 5” card (The Entry) and mailing it in an envelope to the Go Solar Group headquarters: 4892 S Commerce Drive Suite C, Murray, Utah 84107, USA. Entries must be postmarked by Friday January 3, 2020, and received by Friday January 10, 2020. Only 1 entry per envelope is allowed.

Entry Rules

You may only enter the sweepstakes 1 time. All duplicate entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Illegible, incomplete, and duplicate entries will be disqualified. All entries must be submitted online or postmarked by Friday January 3, 2020 at 4:59 p.m. PT and received by Sponsor by Friday January 10th, 2020 at 4:59 p.m. PT to remain eligible for the sweepstakes. Only one entry per household is allowed.

Entrant must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account (as specified by the Internet Service Provider) used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. Entries made by any individual or any entity other than the named entrant and/or originating at any other Internet Website, including (but not limited to) commercial sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering service sites are void.

The Prize and Approximate Retail Value

There will be one (1) Prize (The Prize) awarded in this Sweepstakes. The Prize consists solely of a Yeti 3000 solar generator from Goal Zero. Anything not listed in the prize description is not part of The Prize. The approximate total retail value of the Prize is $3,000. The total value of all Prizes to be awarded is $3,000. All federal, state, and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of The Winner. No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for The Prize is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner will be required to complete and return an IRS 1099-MISC form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) as issued by Go Solar Group. Additional details of the terms and conditions will be given to The Winner after The Winner is declared and contacted.

Random Drawing to Select The Winner

A total of one (1) Winner (The Winner) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries, on or about Friday January 17, 2020, by a Judge selected by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail and/or mail service on or about January 22, 2020.  The Prize is guaranteed to be awarded, but must be picked up at one of the Sponsor offices within 2 weeks of The Winner being notified they are the recipient of The Prize.  The Winner must give 3 business days notice to Sponsor of which office they would like to accept The Prize. If The Winner does not pick up The Prize from the Sponsor within 2 weeks of being notified they have won The Prize or if The Winner is unable to be reached by the means given in The Entry within 2 weeks of being declared The Winner, a new winner will be selected at random.

Prize Conditions

No substitution for The Prize will be permitted. If necessary due to unavailability of The Prize, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. The Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. If The Winner is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of The Prize for any reason, an alternate Winner will be selected. By entering this Sweepstakes and/or accepting The Prize, The Winner hereby consents (except where prohibited by law) to the reasonable use by Sponsor of The Winners’ photograph, voice, likeness and/or image, hometown address, contents of the entry form and the name and age of The Winner without any further compensation for any future promotional activity related to this Sweepstakes.

Odds of Winning

Odds of winning The Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes and are equal regardless of method of entry.

Conduct of Participants

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by the Sweepstakes Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant acting in violation of the Official Rules or found tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Sweepstakes or the website. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and, by entering, all Winners and entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Salt Lake City, Utah; San Antonio, Texas; or Reno, Nevada. As a condition of entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that: (a) under no circumstances will the entrant be entitled or permitted to obtain awards for, and the entrant expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than actual, out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and in no event shall attorney’s fees be recoverable by either party; and (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. 

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE RELATED TO SPONSOR OR THE SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitations of Liability

Sponsor and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries or mail which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible due or any combination thereof. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated early, a winner will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination.

Release of Liability

By participating, The Winner and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Go Solar Group and Goal Zero, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any claims made by The Winner, entrants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.
