This battery backup option also adds flexibility because of its portable features. Both the Boulder solar panel and the Yeti batteries can easily move.
The Yeti 1500x charges essentials for 1/2 a day to 1 day. The Yeti 3000 can keep necessities charged between 1 and 2 days. Crucial items might include a fridge/freezer (225 W), a garage door opener (400 W), a couple of outlets (to charge smaller devices) and some lights (15-100 W per bulb).
Because the Goal Zero Yeti 3000 is heavier, it comes with a retractable roll cart. Each battery also has several ports; allowing different devices to plug directly into the battery.
Both batteries use rechargeable lithium-ion technology. They provide on-demand power, are easy to use, have no fumes and are silent when running. You can charge them with a wall charger, your car or a solar panel.
