NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Please read these rules before entering the 2020 Tesla Powerwall Giveaway (the “Sweepstakes”). You agree that, by submitting an entry, you will be bound by these Official Rules and you acknowledge that you satisfy all Sweepstakes eligibility requirements.

You do not need to be present for the randomized selection of the winner. The winner will be selected from the total combined entrants of all Go Solar Group offices as specified in the Eligibility Requirements section below.

Eligibility Requirements

This Sweepstakes is open to legal residents with a residential address within 60 miles of any Go Solar Group office location as labeled on the Go Solar Group Website Contact Us (https://gosolargroup.com/contact-us/) page. Go Solar Group may open new offices from time to time.

The participant:

Must be the homeowner

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry

Must live within a 60-mile radius of one of Go Solar Group’s Office Locations.

Must be able to schedule installation of the Tesla Powerwall 2 at the residential address with Go Solar Group within 1 month of receiving notice they are The Winner of the Prize.

Go Solar Group and Tesla employees, their immediate family members (spouses, domestic partners, parents, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren), and affiliates, advisors or advertising/promotion agencies (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter the Sweepstakes.

How to Enter

The 2020 Tesla Powerwall Giveaway begins Monday, January 6, 2020, at 5 p.m. PT (6 p.m. MT) and ends Friday January 8 2021 at 5 p.m. PT (6 p.m. MT). You may enter the Sweepstakes by submitting your contact information to request a free, no-obligation, solar for the home plus Tesla Powerwall quote (The Entry) using the forms on either of the following pages. Please do so according to where your primary residence is.  Go Solar Group reserves the right to add additional locations to the Sweepstakes during the campaign’s duration:

Alternative Entry Method

Alternatively, you may enter the Sweepstakes by hand-printing the words “Go Solar Group 2020 Tesla Powerwall Giveaway”, your name, age, address, city, state, zip code, your telephone number and e-mail address (if applicable) on a 3”x 5” card (The Entry) and mailing it in an envelope to the Go Solar Group headquarters: 4892 S Commerce Drive Suite C, Murray, Utah 84107, USA. Entries must be postmarked by Friday, January, 8 2021 at 5 p.m. PT (6 p.m. MT) and received by Friday, January 15, 2021. Only 1 entry per envelope is allowed.

Other Promotions

Please note that we may be running other sweepstakes at the same time as this Sweepstakes. By entering this Sweepstakes, you will not be eligible to receive any prize awarded in any other sweepstakes unless you enter the other sweepstakes separately.

Entry Rules

You may enter the Sweepstakes only 1 time. All duplicate entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Illegible, incomplete, and duplicate entries will be disqualified. All entries must be submitted online or postmarked by Friday January, 8 2021 at 5 p.m. PT (6 p.m. MT) and received by Friday January 15, 2021 to remain eligible for the Sweepstakes. Only one entry per household is allowed.

Entrant must be the registered subscriber of the e-mail account by which the entry is made. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account (as specified by the Internet Service Provider) used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. Entries made by any individual or any entity other than the named entrant and/or originating at any other Internet Website, including (but not limited to) commercial giveaway subscription notification and/or entering service sites are void.

The Prize

There will be one (1) Prize (The Prize) awarded in this Sweepstakes. The Prize consists solely of a Tesla Powerwall 2 with standard on-grid residential installation. Anything not listed in the prize description is not part of The Prize. The retail value of the Prize, not including installation, is determined by Tesla and may vary depending on the retail price at the time it is ordered. The total value of the Prize to be awarded is the price of the Tesla Powerwall 2 plus the retail value of the standard on-grid residential installation. The Winner is only eligible to receive the included installation of the Tesla Powerwall 2 at his or her on-grid residence. In the event the residence is off-grid, Go Solar Group will only provide the Tesla Powerwall 2 itself. The Winner must schedule the installation of the Powerwall directly with Go Solar Group. In the event there is a backlog on Powerwall orders in the location in which the Winner resides, Go Solar Group is not responsible for the wait time to complete the installation.

All federal, state, and local tax liabilities are the sole responsibility of The Winner. No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for The Prize is permitted, except by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner will be required to complete and return an IRS 1099-MISC form (i.e. Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification) as issued by Go Solar Group. Additional details of the terms and conditions will be given to The Winner after The Winner is declared and contacted.

Random Drawing to Select The Winner

A total of one (1) Potential Winner (The Winner) will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries, on or about Monday February 1st, 2021, by a Judge selected by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail and/or mail service on or about Monday February 15, 2021 and he/she will be required to sign an Eligibility Statement and Release.  We will select an alternative potential winner if any potential winner does not claim the prize within 10 days of notification, or meet the eligibility criteria. 

Prize Conditions

No substitution for The Prize will be permitted. If the Winner has not had his or her Tesla Powerwall 2 installation completed within 6 months of claiming The Prize due to unavailability of The Prize, a prize of equal or greater value may be awarded at the discretion of the Sponsor. The Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash. If The Winner is found to be ineligible or declines acceptance of The Prize for any reason, an alternate Potential Winner will be selected. By entering this Sweepstakes and/or accepting The Prize, The Winner hereby consents (except where prohibited by law) to the reasonable use by Sponsor of The Winners’ photograph, voice, likeness and/or image, hometown address, contents of the entry form and the name and age of The Winner without any further compensation for any future promotional activity related to this Sweepstakes.

The prize will be awarded “AS IS” and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

Odds of Winning

Odds of winning The Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes and are equal regardless of method of entry.

Conduct of Participants

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant affirms that he or she has read and agrees to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant acting in violation of the Official Rules or found tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Sweepstakes or the website. The Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and, by entering, all Winners and entrants hereby submit to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Go Solar Group’s office locations. As a condition of entering this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that: (a) under no circumstances will the entrant be entitled or permitted to obtain awards for, and the entrant expressly waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than actual, out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and in no event shall attorney’s fees be recoverable by either party; and (b) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE RELATED TO SPONSOR OR THE SWEEPSTAKES OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Additional Terms

We may, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law and in our sole discretion, change these rules or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time; or modify, terminate, or suspend the Sweepstakes should viruses, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes beyond our control corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes or submission of entries.

Limitations of Liability

Sponsor and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate entry information, theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; printing or other errors; and any entries or mail which are late, lost, delayed, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, mutilated, illegible due or any combination thereof. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes in the event that it becomes necessary due to circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated early, a winner will be selected from all eligible entries received at the time of termination.

Release of Liability

By participating, The Winner and entrants agree to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Go Solar Group and Tesla, and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and their officers, directors, employees, or representatives and agents from and against any claims made by The Winner, entrants or any other third parties related in any way to the operation of this Sweepstakes, as well as any other claims, damages or liability due to any injuries, damages or losses (whether alleged, threatened, or actual) to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity or participation in this Sweepstakes.
